![]() (kann in den Übungen bestellt und gekauft werden) Technisches Zeichnen: selbstständig lernen und effektiv üben In addition to the lecture material the following books are recommended (only in German): Lecture slides and exercise handouts are available on the course Moodle website: links to additive manufacturing (3D printing) links to model variants and Product Data Management (PDM) They will understand the links with simulation, product data management (PDM) and additive manufacturing. Students will also be able to create models of parts and assemblies in a 3D, feature-based CAD system. After taking the course students will be able to create accurate technical drawings of parts and assemblies as well as read them. The lecture and exercises teach the fundamentals of technical drawing and CAD. Create 3D models in CAD and fabricate them directly using additive manufacturing (3D printing). Introduction to the design process and sketching. Please consult with your counselor for more details.Fundamentals of Technical Drawing and Computer Aided Design (CAD). The content of this course is taught at the college level. College Credit: This course may be dual-enrolled at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) as EGR 115 or CAD 140 or other course code for a total of 3 credits at NOVA.The NOVA entrance requirements must be met before registering.Computer aided drafting using AutoCAD and Inventor are a critical part of this course. This class teaches essential programs for the future engineer and is especially beneficial for college bound STEM students. Students also study building materials and their individual properties. These documents include isometric and orthographic drawings as well as models of the drawings. Students prepare working drawings necessary in the design and manufacturing of components and assembles through the use of mechanical drafting and computer assisted drawing programs. This is a drawing course which focuses on the practices of the fields of engineering and design. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in Computer Assisted Technical Drawing (28439) Please consult with your counselor for more details. The NOVA entrance requirements must be met before registering.
